Are you trying to relax, manage stress, improve in a sport or recover from an illness or injury? I use a variety of meditation, relaxation, imagery, stress management, Ayurvedic medical and yogic techniques to address these concerns. I work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds including athletes, musicians, professionals and teenagers.
*Meditation offers safe and effective ways to calm the body and "still the mind" from it's constant thought processing and physical activities. These tools can be used to relieve stress, heal the body, increase job or sports performance, achieve higher awareness.
*When we relax our body and focus our attention inwardly we can become calm. In this process the body rests, recharges heals. Breathing and heart rate slow down, the mind becomes still.
In this stillness intuition may increase; we may find simple answers to hard question; Correct problems in our health and in our personal and professional lives.
We may increase our energy and awareness, attract positive experiences, spiritual blessings and attain some peace of mind. The above picture was taken in Southern India, in the state of Kerala at the Island ashram of the Holy Mother Ammachi, also known as the "Hugging Saint".
Our complex being just 2,000 yards from the Arabian sea was also a site that was struck by the 2004 Tsunami. I was there at that time and obviously and thanking God I survived.
Many in our small village did not. I plan to pen a book some time in the future titled,
" Tsunami, 2004, than and now", based on the experiences and photo journals of an eye witness.
